Fortunates

He surprised me with a extravagant date. We ate at a Chinese restaurant and then went to the Philharmonics. I was totally enthralled, the orchestra was simply beautiful. On the way home we opened our fortune cookies. His said ‘This year will bring you happiness.’ Mine said ‘You are a master in everything.’
We discussed the meanings and decided that mine wasn’t a good one. He kindly offered to share his with me. “Well, you can share it if I can find it,” he said glancing around for it. I picked it up from his console and handed it to him. He laughed, “I think that I need a brain transplant or else I need to keep you around” another smile, “The brain transplant doesn’t seem very optional right now.”
