Growing

Our daughter is already month old already. She has changed so much. Her looks have changed, her sleep cycles have changed and her diapers have been changed. Every day she grows bigger and becomes more alert.

My heart is longing for the day when she will surrender her heart to the Lord. As cute and innocent as she is now she still has a wicked heart. It’s hard to grasp that concept when she is sweetly tucked in my arms looking up at me with those big blue eyes. There surely cannot be any sinful nature in her. But there is. Same as the rest of us. It won’t be to long before it will start to rear its ugly head in her life. I pray for wisdom to be patient and to always be pointing her to Christ and to teach her at a young age to have a heart for Jesus and a desire to serve Him.
