Oh the joy of having children. They melt your heart, make you laugh and even cause you to be quite silly yourself. We have been so blessed to have a happy daughter. Yes, there are times when nothing can make her happy and I feel exhausted, but usually she is an ever present bundle of joy. When I look into her sparkling blue eyes or hear her delighted laughter when she is tickled under the chin, I am reminded of how we should be. Content, peaceful, and living the life that Jesus wants with joy. With jubilation!

noun
1.
a feeling of great happiness and triumph.
We can live in jubilation because the battle’s been won! We are free from our sinful past! We are washed clean! The Lord is on our side! Let that resonate in our ears. Drown out the discouraging politics, the billboards, the lustful cry of the world and the subtle whispers of the devil. Replace it with a battle cry. “The LORD is on our side!” We can live in triumph, victory and joy, despite what is happening around us. Now take that.
