Patience

Patience… Rest… Wait…

A few months have passed since we made the decision to be a part of MMS and it seems like things are moving slowly. I feel like a grain of sand in the upper quadrant of an hourglass, knowing that even though nothing seems to be happening, there is ground work being laid. Everything is being put in place for that moment when the sand around me begins to move, faster and faster until finally I fall through the opening. That applies to our life now. Even though we may not be seeing a lot of activity in raising support, I trust that God is working on hearts of individuals – and our own. He is preparing the soil. He’s preparing the senders and also preparing us to be sent. When the time is right, I know God will send us off to do his bidding. Until then… patience.
