Rehersal

The day of the rehearsal it was drizzling. In fact it had rained nearly all week. Normally I could have cared less except for the fact that our wedding venue was outdoors. I was nervous. We had rented a tent, thankfully, but I wasn’t fond of being married in the tent. We and the wedding party ran through the ceremony twice all huddled under umbrellas. It was quite the experience, it was nearly dark, cold and lightly drizzling, not the most ideal weather.

We ate a warm meal in the tent and went over some last minute plans. As the evening drew to a close Brad asked me if we could talk in  privet. He drew me aside under the warm glow of a outdoor lamp and brought up the topic the kiss. We hadn’t ever discussed it before. It was a tiny bit awkward to talk about, having never discussed anything of that nature before. He then bid be a good night of restful sleep and walked me to my car. Tomorrow was the day! Tomorrow I would marry my best friend! My heart was delighted at the day ahead.
