Life is an amazing thing. It evolves from 2 cells into a miraculous embryo and from there changes into a fetus and then….. wonder of wonders, a baby! A bundle full of life. Dependent on nourishment, love and lots of sleep. Over a few weeks things begin to change. Their eyes begin to open, only moments at a time at first, but then for an hour or two. They begin to track with their eyes and their heads turn towards the sound of a familiar voice. Before long, a smile begins to emerge. It’s a rare treat. It becomes more and more frequent but no less a rare treat. Even though our daughter is to little to communicate through talking its important to treasure the little things. A smile is worth a thousand words.
