Praise reports:
Brad finished his instrument test and is now a licensed IFR pilot! That means he now has the knowledge, skill and ability to fly without being able to see where he is going. To me that sounds near impossible but it can be done. Ever flown on a jet across the country in a thick layer of clouds? A glance out the window tells you there is nothing but white fog. You have no way of knowing for sure which way is north or even if you’re right side up. The pilot knows because he has learned to read the instruments. I’m thankful that God gave Brad clarity of mind and a steady hand as he took the test.
We found out that we are being blessed with another daughter! As far as we know she is healthy and is already getting chubby cheeks. The children are excited and neither of them had a strong opinion as to a baby brother or sister.
Prayer Requests:
- The main training airplane has been down for over a week with a maintenance issue and no one can seem to pinpoint the problem. Many parts have been replaced with no success on fixing the issue. This is frustrating for all the mechanics/pilots who want to continue their flight training.
- With our estimated end of flight training in sight, (May/June) we continue to ask for your prayers for our next leg of the journey.
