Quick Update

We’ve been busy lately. Summer time never fails to bring on a barrage of activity.

We spent a weekend in Smoketown, Pennsylvania helping out with a mission aviation event and we also got to spend some time with family. We celebrated a birthday that weekend, and he was delighted to get to share the event with his cousins.

We started first grade and pre-k a few weeks ago. They were excited to start, and though some of the excitement has worn off they are still eager to learn. The oldest has started cursive this year and she is super excited to learn it. The little guy has nearly mastered the alphabet visually and is learning to write letters. I am so very thankful that they love to learn. It’s not all fun and I have to remind them often to just keep at it, but we are learning and growing together and that such a blessing.

As you’ve probably heard by now our family is growing. We are so excited for January! I’m thankful that everything is going well and as far as we know the baby is healthy. Finding a midwife was a bit of a challenge but the Lord provided as He always does.

Brad is scheduled to take his instrument check ride and oral test in a few weeks. He’s spent a lot of time flying with his instructor and studying for the test. I’m sure he would appreciate your prayers as the testing day is quite exhausting.

Praying for you all as you live and love and move in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Thank you for sharing bits of your lives and giving us the opportunity to pray that much more!
