This weeks news update comes from the kids! They wanted to tell about things from their perspective, so I helped them make a video. You can find it below.
This week Crystal passed another Spanish book exam, which means next week she will be heading into Present Perfect tense.
Also, the quarantine in Honduras continues to get extended. It is now pretty much impossible that we will make our scheduled flight back to the States in early July. We will have to re-schedule for some later date. Also, it is highly unlikely that we will be able to travel at all before we leave. That means no visiting our future home in Guaimaca before we move there, which is a little disappointing. It also complicates a couple of legal processes that we really need to resolve before we leave.
Please join us in praying for these items:
- Changes to our flight plan will go smoothly and we can get some sort of a refund for the cancelled flight we had booked
- We will be able to get our Legal Residency paperwork before we leave the country. If we leave it here unfinished, it will be more difficult to get back into the country.
- I will be able to get a taxpayer ID number to finish some other legal paperwork that we need before we leave.
Over all these things, God is sovereign.
Now for a lighter note, here is the junior news.

We Want More!
Yes yes. More please. Absolutely wonderful!!!
Can these two ALWAYS report the news, please?! I would watch every day!
Congrats Crystal! Feliz something or rather. 🤷♀️😜 And yes, please give us more of those sweet kiddos. They are too much. “The mangoes are growing”. Better than any news report we’ve seen here. First real news in a while. Love & miss you all!
Oh Crystal this was so adorable! Lillia and Boston have the news down pat!
Miss y’all!
Your kids are just adorable. They did really well on this video.
Thanks for the great program.
Love you all.
Tom
What’s the temp like ?? Hot, rain, cool nights ?
It’s generally in the upper 80’s during the day, but gets quite cool in the evening. We are at about 3,500 ft. in elevation, so the temperature is quite comfortable. Down along the coasts it’s stifling.
LOVED this update. I’m with all the other feedback. MORE news reports pleeeease! Prayers for you all.
Crystal… This made me laugh so much and confirmed something I often wondered as an adult. Who’s idea was those “talk shows” we put on as kids?
I’m thinking it was definitely yours!!! So fun to see your children doing something we did <3
chuckle, who me?!
