Proving the Airplane and Team

Our airplane is freshly refurbished, and we are giving it the final care to be ready to send to Honduras. One of the steps is to fly it enough to be sure everything is in tip-top shape. We want to find any potential problems before we are on the field.

The same is true of our team, which is why we are all together in North Carolina right now. We are going through the process of becoming a team, facing some of the initial challenges so that when we can make a better start when we get to Honduras. Ride along with me in the airplane as I explain some of these goals in the following video.

Next week we start our Aviation Standardization Training, which is a critical component of keeping us safe in our flying. We want to be sure that every pilot and mechanic is operating to the high standards of safety that are required.

The purpose of preparing well is to ensure longevity; we don’t want airplanes breaking down, and we don’t want people breaking down. We want our team to be effective and fruitful in the ministry of God’s kingdom for many years. We are stewarding what God has given us to reach that objective.

Thank you for being part of our support team!
