Bible verses and prayer

The final week of the discipleship program is completed. Their eyes lit up at the sight of the three pound bag of candy and the excitement quickly escalated. The kids quickly formed a line as we reviewed the memory verses from the past 12 weeks. It was such a joy to see the work that some of them had poured into learning those verses.

The last few months have been challenging, and we have needed to lean into Jesus more than ever. He is sovereign. There have been some hard issues in our community and we’ve sensed, more than ever, some serious strongholds of the devil within La Mosquitia. Our souls have been burdened and pressed for God’s intervention. What we see is something way bigger than us, way beyond what two families can possibly carry. This month we spent a week of prayer. Projects and most work was put on hold and we spent the week praying together as a team, praying together with the local kids and a prayer walk though the village. What amazing week, though we were dealing with some hard decisions, we really felt God’s presence with us. Many of you were also praying and we deeply thank you for those prayers! While we cannot share more here, please keep praying for our community, but not just for Rus Rus, for the whole of La Mosquitia, for the whole of Honduras. These are people, who I believe, truly want to follow God. They need Jesus! They need healing, forgiveness, and truth.

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

Praying for clear answers and God’s protection as you continue to love and serve the ones He loves also! May His power be greater, to draw others to His truth. God bless and be with each one!

Praying for y’all and the precious people God has called you to serve in La Mosquitia. Indeed, this entire world is touched by the schemes of the evil one with none of our families exempt. I’m thankful that God has blessed Rus Rus and your area as a whole with His Gospel presence through you and your ministry partners. Longing for the day when the Lord makes all things right and until then we pray and live to bring God glory and evidence His Gospel to a lost and dying world.

Praying the gifted Word that is being planted into their hearts will produce much fruit! Prayers for protection, healing and the love of Jesus to be over you all.

Scripture says God’s word will accomplish the thing he sent it to do. I praise God for these young people hearing and memorizing God’s words. Yahweh isn’t scared of satan and no stronghold is greater than Holy Father. I pray for these bondages to be broken and praise God that he is bringing life and truth and freedom to the dear people of Rus Rus and beyond. I pray for your strength and endurance to grow each day. The Lord will never leave you nor forsake you. He is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. Hallelujah!
