The weekend before Christmas we hosted our community in a Christmas party. We supplied a good meal for everyone, had games and activities for the children, and sang some songs. Attendance was down a little bit this year, but we had fun.

The Christmas Eve church service included a Christmas drama produced and directed by Candace. Everyone did a fantastic job.

We did distribution for the first batch of gifts, but the second batch for our neighboring community has not arrived yet. This year we were also able to give away several boxes of Bibles to the adults.

Over the Wilderness
After the festivities, we flew back to the city with some family that was visiting.

Our route took us a little further north than we usually go and nearer Pico Bonito, one of the most well-known peaks in Honduras. The clouds and fog had the mountains blanketed, but the peaks peeked up proudly. It was a breathtaking sight, the kind that a camera does not capture. Those mountains are steep and rugged.

Prayer Requests
As we serve in ministry, we are sometimes lulled to sleep by routines and comforts. Our commission as Christians is to proclaim the light of the Gospel wherever the darkness of evil is found. We ask you to pray with us on these points:
- Spiritual discernment and fortitude as we walk carefully and boldly through the spiritual darkness in our world
- Safety for our families as we live and work in a place that can be difficult
- The freedom of Christ to be multiplied in our community as people discover the light of the Gospel
- Wisdom as our ministry grows, as new doors are opened, and as new needs come up
- Provision for the work, and patience to trust God’s timing
We are grateful to God for each of you that have supported us in prayer, sent us much-needed encouragement, and given financially to support this work. May God be near to you in 2026.

It looks like a great wrapping up of 2025!
Praying God’s favor and direction for you, as He opens opportunities for you in 2026!
May His Love and Grace flow through you.
May the light that our Savior brings continue to light your pathways and bring light to the hearts of those to whom you minister. The darkness is great, but the light dispels the darkness, always. Praise God for that truth!
We thank God for the amazing team He has assembled to minister to the forgotten people of Honduras. You serve and love well, and you are all greatly loved and appreciated on earth and in heaven!
