Questions in the quiet

Quiet beauty

Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have a need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. Hebrews 10:35-36

That verse means a lot to me right now. Sometimes being a mother can sometimes be difficult. Not just
in the day to day things but in trying to make good sound decisions for our children’s future. Being freshly uprooted from one state and moving into another state, means making a lot of decisions over again. My mind considers, weighs and reconsiders again all the pros and cons. Where will we go to church? How will a certain church or people affect our children? What about school curriculum? Every parent has these same questions and I know I’m not alone. We all want what’s best for our children. We want them to grow into healthy young adults. We want them to be educated. We want, most of all, for them to love the Lord.

May you seek and find God in everything!

In our household, naps are mostly evaded from both of the youngsters. It’s been somewhat of a struggle but I’m trying to teach them the importance of having quiet time. I want them to rest quietly and to let the beauty of quietness penetrate their souls. Learning to rest is a valuable attribute. We can hear God best when we are quiet.  Quietness is hard to come by in this day and age. Take a moment. Get into a place where you can hear God and listen…
