49 days until Christmas! It is coming up soon. It’s the time when we celebrate Jesus born as a babe and coming to this earth. A perfect gift. In the years that we’ve been here in Rus Rus we missionaries have held a Christmas celebration here in our village. In years past we have given gifts to the kids and a some years a tarp or chickens to each family. This year a school from the US has stepped up asked to provide all the gifts needed for each child in our community. What a tremendous blessing! The children always look forward to our the gifts as every child does and seeing the joy in their faces is something to behold. This year with the gifts covered we are asking for donations to put towards the food for the party. Serving several hundred people a good full meal is a bit of cost.
