Merry Christmas!

Our first Christmas in Honduras has proved to be memorable. At midnight on Christmas Eve the whole city came alive with fireworks from every direction. Think grand finale on July 4th but add in surround sound and multiple venues for launching. Our apartment is up on the side of a mountain so we had a lovely view of the fireworks. Somehow the kids slept through it all, Brad tried to wake them up to see but they were not at all interested and have no recollection of even being awakened.

Yes, jackets are necessary, it can get chilly here.

Today we had some good family time, we made a traditional Christmas meal, with cranberry sauce, rolls & sweet potato casserole.

Following our meal we hiked to the top of the closest mountain and had a bird’s eye view of the city. God’s creation is incredible! Let the love of Christ permiate your lives this season. Sending love from Honduras!

Merry Christmas!!
